BPER Banca has granted Nexi S.p.A. an exclusive negotiation period as part of a potential review of existing commercial agreements

In relation to reports in the trade press about the BPER Group’s payment services business, the Bank informs that, as part of a competitive bidding project initiated by BPER Banca for the potential structuring and review of the agreements in place with its business partners and following a non-binding offer submitted within this process by Nexi S.p.A., the latter – a player with which the Group already has commercial agreements in place that are known to the market – has been granted a 60-day period of exclusive negotiation until 15 April 2022.

In this regard it is noted that BPER Banca has not received any binding offers, as negotiations between the parties are still in progress, and that BPER Banca will inform the market when any binding agreements are reached on the subject.
