Standard & Poor’s revised the long-term rating to “BB” from “BB+” and affirmed the short-term to “B”
Banca popolare dell’Emilia Romagna s.c. informs that on July 24th 2013, the rating agency Standard & Poor’s has revised the Bank’s long-term rating to “BB” from “BB+” removing it from CreditWatch, where it was placed on July 12th 2013, and affirmed short-term rating at “B”. The outlook is “negative”. The rating action reflects Standard and Poor’s view of increased economic and industry risks for Italian financial institutions and the agency believes that the banking sector is now more exposed to a deeper and more prolonged recession that it has previously anticipated.
