BPER Banca announces that, following the acquisition of Banca Carige on 3 June 2022, it has received notification of the European Central Bank’s decision amending the Decision establishing prudential requirements to be met on a consolidated basis pursuant to art. 16 of Regulation (EU) No. 1024/2013, which was addressed to the Bank after the Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP) on 25 January 2022.
The new requirement that BPER Banca will have to comply with on a consolidated basis in terms of Common Equity Tier 1 ratio is 8.47% (vs. prior 8.29%), consisting of the sum of the minimum regulatory Pillar 1 requirement of 4.5%, the additional Pillar 2 requirement of 1.47%and the Capital Conservation Buffer of 2.5%. The minimum Total Own Funds requirement (“Total Capital ratio”) shall be 13.11%.
